How to guarantee a more efficient job by using top-notch couplers

We use A2 hitches on all our excavators & earthmoving equipment because they make attachment changes super quick and easy for our customers.

Efficiency and productivity is the key to a successful project, and it starts with having the right tools and machines available that won’t slow you down on site.

Orange Hire uses a variety of hitches from leading manufacturer Attach2 to ensure our customers can get the job done quickly and effectively – every time.

A2 Sure-Grip Coupler:

This best-in-class coupler system locks and holds attachments fast in a single step, ensuring ease of use without sacrificing safety.

Fabricated from precision-milled steel, the Sure-Grip is made to endure tough Australian conditions. Standards compliant, this unit is very low profile, lightweight and requires no maintenance, making attachment changes quick and easy.

The low-profile design of the Sure-Grip Coupler gives the best possible breakout force while enhancing the excavator’s productivity. It allows for simple pickup of any attachments in the same weight class with the same pin diameter.

Best for: non-tilting requirements

A2 Heli-Tilt Coupler:

The A2 Heli-Tilt coupler utilises the Sure-Grip coupler base for fast and safe attachment coupling, combined with an additional tilting component. This allows for up to 180 degree movement on smaller machines and 134 degree movement on machines 16T and above.

Being able to tilt all your attachments means you can complete your work faster and more efficiently, leaving a better-graded finish while only removing as much material as required. Plus, because the operator doesn’t need to exit the cab to attach and remove hydraulic hoses from tilting buckets, you can save loads of time and reduce the risk of accidents.

Built for performance, the Heli-Tilt boasts excellent breakout force figures, reducing power losses thanks to its low pin to pin height. The helical motor provides excellent torque to tilt any connected attachment – all in a narrow footprint suitable for confined working spaces.

Best for: tilting requirements on larger machines up to 35T, difficult access tilt requirements

A2 Mini-Tilt Coupler:

A simple and efficient tilt coupler designed for mini excavators. Designed to tilt all kinds of attachments, it offers a 70 degree tilt range, significantly expanding the efficiency of any mini digger.

It allows for fast bucket changes, removing the need to change over tilt bucket hoses with stiff QRC’s and reducing oil contamination from frequent changes.

Best for: adding tilt capability to mini excavators
